Istobal opens new office in Hungary
By acquiring their previous distributor, Istobal is opening a new office in Hungary. The Spanish car wash supplier is already active in a number of European countries, including France and Poland.
With the opening of the new subsidiary, Istobal hopes to get closer to their East European customers. According to them, “It is part of the strategic growth plan planned by Istobal in Europe.”
To this end, the company has acquired its previous local distributor, CarWash Hungary, a renowned carwash company located in Budapest.
With this new opening in the Hungarian capital, the group now has a total of 13 subsidiaries globally.
“We are delighted with the acquisition of CarWash Hungary” said Antonio Martinez, the company’s CEO in a press release. “This move highlights our determination to adapt to the changing demands of a demanding market, while strengthening our position in a region full of great opportunities.”
CarWash Hungary has been active in the car wash market for more than 30 years. They have been a distributor for the Valencian based company since 1995.
The new subsidiary will employ a total of 30 people in Hungary. Heading the office will be Csaba Szőnyi, an industry professional with in-depth knowledge of the Hungarian market and extensive experience in the carwash and car care sector, including his role as general and sales Director of CarWash Hungary.
