UNITI expo was only three months ago and preparations for the next edition of the trade fair have already started. The fair will return to Stuttgart in 2026, from May 19 to 21. By communicating this date this early, the organization wants to contribute to a better planning of car wash-related trade shows.

“We have communicated the date for the UNITI expo 2026 in Stuttgart in a timely manner, because we really want to avoid that the UNITI expo overlaps with other industry-relevant trade shows, like happened this year with the Car Wash Show in Nashville,” says Ben Boroewitsch, director of the com-a-tec agency, which organizes the fair. “We know that some European car wash experts would have liked to fly to the US, but did not find the opportunity to do so, as UNITI expo has become a must-attend event in Europe. That’s a shame because we are all interested in the best possible exchange in the sector and therefore such overlaps should be avoided,” he ads.

The German trade fair for the gas station and car wash industry attracted 18,000 visitors this year. A record number for UNITI. “This year has once again shown that there is great interest from the mobility sector. Especially in the area of the car wash, we were able to register many new visitors from Southern and Eastern Europe who came to Stuttgart for the UNITI expo. The diversity of exhibitors also increased again this year,” says Boroewitsch.

‘Good audience mix’

According to Boroewitsch, the UNITI expo 2024 was more international than previous years. “The right mix of national and international visitors and exhibitors makes the UNITI expo very interesting for the industry.” The further development of the exhibition concept with a greater focus on specialist presentations and additional fields such as the Future Mobility Lounge was well received by the industry. Therefore, it is no question that these improvements will come back in 2026, as will the hall concept, in which the individual themes will be further expanded.
