HEM plans to break car wash world record

It's gonna be a challenge to wash so many cars in one day.

While European soccer fans are anxiously awaiting the upcoming European Championships in Germany, HEM service will try to break the world record in car washing this Friday.

Current record holder is the American company NAPA Auto Parts. They managed to wash  7197 cars in eight hours on their locations on April 27, 2019. To manage this, NAPA partnered with local charities and nonprofit organizations. HEM will try to beat them this coming Friday. Their motto is: “Clear the way for the biggest car wash challenge the country has ever seen!”

The company is calling on all car owners across Germany to give their vehicles a polished shine at HEM car washes on the campaign day and set a new world record together. To maximize participation, HEM has put together a special offer for the campaign day and is offering washes for a flat rate of five euros.

“We are not only the country with the best car manufacturers, we also have the most beautiful cars – if they are clean,” says Managing Director Carsten Pohl. “That’s why we want to bring the world record for car washing to Germany. All drivers are cordially invited to join us in writing record history on June 14 – the Germany-wide car wash day at HEM service stations. Let’s win the world championship title together!”

The most car washes within 8 hours

We will find out whether the world record attempt for the “most car washes at different venues (within 8 hours)” was successful on the following Monday at the big record announcement. The presentation of the official world record certificate by the Record Institute for Germany [RIO] is planned for the next staff meeting in mid-June.

HEM announces the world record attempt on their social media accounts and via this Linktree.
