Folds of Honor and ZIPS Car Wash Celebrate Re-Grand Opening

ZIPS Car Wash has hosted a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony on August 6th at ZIPS Car Wash, 4453 Meramec Bottom Road in St. Louis alongside the Southwest Area Chamber of Commerce and Folds of Honor to celebrate the newly remodeled location.

ZIPS is celebrating 20 years of clean this year with a $20,000 Give Back Tour to Folds of Honor through local academic scholarships, updating locations across the country and introducing their new mobile app. Brothers Clayton and Caden Smith of Lake St. Louis will be honored at the ceremony tomorrow.

“This year represents so many milestones and pillars of growth for our brand and we’re excited to celebrate them in St. Louis as we unveil our remodeled locations, honor local students and families and introduce captivating ways to engage with our customers through our new mobile app,” said Rebecca Latacz, Chief Marketing Officer, ZIPS Car Wash.

To date, ZIPS has recognized 10 students across the country and ZIPS customers have helped ZIPS raise over $50,000 through donations made during their car wash purchases. Honorees tomorrow Clayton and Caden will each receive a $1,000 scholarship from ZIPS.

For every new app

ZIPS is donating $1 to Folds of Honor for every new app download on key military holidays including July 4th, September 11th and November 11th. The ZIPS Car Wash app is available for free download from the App Store on IOS and the Google Play Store on Android. ZIPS customers can donate directly to Folds of Honor by purchasing a car wash and adding a $1, $3, or $5 donation to their wash purchase at any ZIPS location until Veteran’s Day, November 11th at 260 locations across the country.
